Titanium Securitas, a well-established security solutions provider based in the Northern Suburbs of the Western Cape, is seeking to hire a dynamic, skilled, and professional Alarm Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality security solutions and takes pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair various alarm systems, with specific experience in PARADOX and IDS systems.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose faults and issues with alarm systems, ensuring that all installations are fully functional and meet client specifications.
Client Interaction: Engage professionally with clients, explaining the functionality of installed systems and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Teamwork: Work effectively both individually and as part of a skilled team, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Adaptability: Handle pressure effectively, adapting to tight deadlines and on-site challenges while maintaining a high standard of work.
Essential Requirements:
PSIRA Registered: Must have a valid PSIRA registration and certificate.
Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience as an alarm installer with expertise in major systems such as PARADOX, IDS, and others.
RSA ID: Must possess a valid South African ID.
Driver’s License: A valid RSA driver’s license is required for fieldwork.
Sober Habits: Must demonstrate reliability and maintain sober habits both on and off duty.
No Criminal Record: Applicants must have a clear criminal record.
Punctuality and Presentation: Candidates must be punctual, well-groomed, and exhibit professionalism in both appearance and attitude.
