We are looking for a well presented, motivated individual motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Production Manager that will be responsible for leading and Coordinating all production activities and take responsibility for all operations, planning, drawing up and achieving a dynamic production plan that ensures that the company’s products are manufactured and delivered to customers on time and in full, at a level of quality that meets relevant industry standards, and which always matches or beats customers’ expectations.
MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
● Higher National Diploma and /or technical degree and /or recognised Production Management qualification
● Knowledge of quality principles applicable to our industry
● Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
● Literacy in computer software such as Autocad and Microsoft Office Suite

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
● Ensure that the reasonable and practical application of OHSAct is adhered to as appointed 16.2 for the facilities
● Lead, motivate, train and develop the factory staff, supervisors and production teams
● Ensure that health and safety standards are achieved
● Set and consistently achieve production targets that match the company’s strategy and sales budget
● Set and achieve site targets
● Determine and maintain quality standards in production
● Planning and scheduling
● Delivery in full on time
● Review and, where necessary, make changes to production layouts, workflow and production processes
● Driving and continuously improve productivity, reduce costs, and waste reduction at factory and sites
● Apply world class, best practices in manufacturing
● Manage stock levels to ensure that production targets are achieved, while meeting the company’s stock guidelines
● Implement and manage a maintenance programme of all machinery in the production facilities
● Control the logistics function
● Take a leading role in industrial relations with all factory staff
● Contribute to the formulation and execution of strategy as a senior member of the company’s management team
● Collaboration with the Sales Director, GM, Procurement & Finance Manager
